This sounds great, but who is our modern day Roosevelt ???

Who can step up, command the kind of respect, and demonstrate the

amount of clout necessary to actually get the ball rolling ???

We need this person, or persons, to come to the fore now !!!

it's getting late .....

It’s us collectively who are responsible to protect our rights and freedoms from these criminals who have no respect for our constitution and our rights set forth in the ‘real’ contract with America, the U. S. Constitution.

Look around there are others standing strong against this heathen. Do your part and write letters, make telephone calls and send emails to your friends and keep the pressure on the republicans which have shut down our government. And support the democrats who are trying to keep us safe from losing our healthcare, food, homes, jobs, and paying for the Republicans assault on seniors, retirees, families and small businesses that are suffering from the big ugly bill and rumps illegal tariffs. The democrats are you first line of defense against this inflation threat by republicans who want to destroy our healthcare and our economy so they can get complete control and rob our treasury and our rule of law dedicated to the proposition that all men and women were created equal.

Join the protesters across the nation this October at any event near you.

Our modern Roosevelt today, the Democrats fighting for freedom and democracy and refusing to pass the big ugly bill that will starve children, increase healthcare costs, increase prescriptions for insulin and increase our debt trillions of dollars. So we will lose our social safety nets for the children and grandchildren who are hurting because of inflation and the war on America by the rump regime .

Here's another way. Let's take the fucker down by exposing him. I have receipts.

Here's "real" crime for the DOJ to investigate: Trump/Epstein.

Let's help things along. Time to brush up on your knowledge of "The Epstein Conspiracy." Not "the Files." Not "the Client List." Make no mistake. It's "The Epstein Conspiracy" and we need to start calling it that because that's exactly what it is.

RELEASE THE EPSTEIN CONSPIRACY FILES. DO IT FOR CHARLIE!

Here are the posts and articles I have collected detailing the depth of what I'm calling "The Epstein Conspiracy." It's not just some files, it's not just a client list. It's literally a massive conspiracy to conceal that global pedo cabal you've heard about all this time. Only it involves so many billionaires, royals, politicians, banking institutions, universities, intelligence agencies and global leaders your head will spin. If anyone hasn't fully dived into the rabbit hole yet, these links are a good start.

The Trump cult is made up of very wealthy people and uneducated people. The wealthy people figure it will all be OK. The uneducated people don’t understand what’s happening and they believe what Trump says.

It’s confusing to see these two groups working together. But I guess that’s not what it is. It’s really one group using another as they always have. The wealthy people know that Trump is a liar. They know that everything he says is false. But every time Trump gets close to crossing the line, they just move it. They are accustomed to having their own way and they’re not ready to change.

It certainly is a conspiracy because when Trump’s foul activities are finally exposed they won’t be able to move the line.

Like this amazing article consolidates so well- we have been almost exactly here before. There are great documentaries & books about the Gilded Age (no, not HBO The Gilded Age- that shows it as if we all get along, nicely dressed and well fed residing (while not in the best rooms) those over the top mansions). PBS has a decent one- books give a greater picture though. One you grasp the similarity is a few big money entitled inhumanitarians own/control everything , you can quickly see we have arrived back there. So- this is a great start of a plan.

I would suggest that, by our actions and by talking with others … like the uneducated … we may be able to get this sorted out and maybe learn while we do that. Democracy needs shaking up every so often… thx U.S. one of those time, in my opinion.

It’s a devastating problem- they’ve been used & played by oligarchs who have bent them -to their ultimate detriment-to work for an agenda that only truly benefits the ultra wealthy. To turn someone who has invested all they are into the “one alone who can solve THEIR problems” is something I have absolutely no answer to. I’m pretty sure just providing the alternative information is NOT going to help. It’s a cult and that requires a whole different set of skills to help people break through. The reality is LITERALLY different for maga cultists.

Thank you Samuel for raising the alarm and suggesting solutions.

Here are my own 3 steps to defeating Trumpism:

1. On the macro scale, we need a Leader who can be the rallying point for the widespread but unconsolidated anti-Trump anti-MAGA sentiment. Right now Gavin Newsom is playing that role, standing up to Trump.

2. We also need to end the internal squabbles and purity tests that created the opening for Trump. If Dems are caught in a moderate vs progressive split, then Trumpism will win again. We need to be consolidated and unified.

3. Finally, individually, we each need to raise our voices, using platforms like Substack.

Here's a sample of my own humble attempt to defeat Trumpism.

https://kamala4prez.substack.com/p/crossing-the-line

Clearly, American democracy is under siege, and Trumpism has some Trump cards like gerrymandering that give them an edge, but MAGA has power disproportionate to their numbers. The only way to defeat Trumpism is to get our act together, unified and consolidated under one leader, and then everyone get to work on a full court press.

Remember, the SOAB is proceeding as if he had a mandate, but the reality is:

31.78% VOTED FOR TRUMP

30.84% VOTED FOR HARRIS

1.06% VOTED THIRD PARTY

36.32%

DID NOT VOTE

100.00%

MORE AMERICANS

VOTED FOR SOMEONE OTHER THAN TRUMP...

THIS IS NOT A LANDSLIDE...

THIS IS NOT A MANDATE FOR TRUMP FASCISM...

Sam, I think the key thing Dems need to do in the midterms is (1) choose to focus on solutions to the issues that drove voter preferences in 2024 -- overall economic and job growth, inflation, illegal border crossings and release of millions of undocumented migrants into the US for years waiting for a court date, and waste in government spending; (2) show the public HOW Dems would govern to address these problems differently than Republicans -- how will Dems grow the economy, not just propose spending on programs; how will Dems lower inflation; how will Dems stop illegal border crossings; how will Dems change immigration program to avoid sending millions of undocumented migrants into the country for years (by the way, since 80%-90% are denied asylum in those hearings, that's not fair to them either); how will Dems competently, legally and Constitutionally cut waste out of government spending programs?

Republicans make promises of benefit if elected but have no plans that detail HOW they will achieve those benefits. Dems have to be different than that. Take the time NOW to develop detailed legislative proposals in these areas, ready to pass on Day 1 if the voters give them the majority. Economic growth with low inflation requires more than new spending and higher wages. Dems never seem to consider that most voters in the country are concerned with the impact of those actions on business profits and inflation and thus the qualify of economic growth.

I agree we have to do what we can in the short term to oppose actions to undermine elections. At the same time, we need to define HOW to fix broken government processes. Changing who governs is important, but the best way to do that is messaging about changes to HOW we are governed. And just going back to Pre-MAGA is not sufficient. MAGA is a reaction to the ineffectiveness of government that existed for the past few decades in governing the country overall instead of focusing on partisan bases.
