In 2024 mother in Detroit said on camera: "I detest Trump, but I've got 6 kids and can't afford groceries." Her vote for Trump probably reflected millions of others in the same situation.
Today, groceries are even more costly, and Trump is even more detestable.
So there's a lot of buyers' remorse out there, financially and morally. Meanwhile Trump obsesses about his Golden Ballroom, covers the Oval Office walls with chintzy gold garbage, and celebrates America's Golden Age. It might be golden for Elon and the super billionaires, but that mother in Detroit ain't seeing no gold. She's seeing red, as in burning anger and betrayal. Now it's up to the Dems to get their act together and for all those millions of women to say "enough bullshit".
I blame corporate media for allowing the spray tan con man to successfully perpetrate the myth that he is a business man at all, let alone a successful one and certainly not the 'genius' he attempts to portray. He has run every business he has managed into the ground. His daddy gave him $400m and he went bankrupt 6 times, not including the loan defaults that he settled for a fraction of what he owed. His only 'business' success is fraud, grifting and the cons that he learned from Roy Cohn.
Getting elected president twice was his greatest success and his greatest con. But his understanding of economics, especially that of the entire country that effects everyday working Americans is that of a child narcissist. He doesn't understand tariffs, he does 'business' like a mobster: pay to play, extortion, lying, cheating, threatening violence.
No one should have voted for this career criminal for economic reasons. And his racist extrajudicial immigrant purge is killing local economies, undermining the constitution and the rule of law.
More power to any of these women if they can take Drumph down but I hope that the people that are not billionaires and thought he would be 'good for business' are finally waking up.
