What? trumpy's negotiating team, being led by the equally inexperienced negotiator jd vacancy, is being thumbs-down by France... and all the other nations in the United Nations? Hard to believe. The old fat over-grown child has a view of the world, his world, being just a theatre where he is the producer/script writer/director/top actor. Why can anyone not simply follow along? A whole lot of people, leaders and plain old common folks, do. Ah, folly folly. Now if the US of A could find a leader of the caliber of Canada's Mark Carney or France's Macron the nation might be saved.
Good article and kudos to President Macron and France! As for your comment about Trump’s inexperienced negotiating team, I regard that phrase very kind.
How the self proclaimed greatest world democracy can produce two persons of little diplomatic competency and highly questionable ethics is entirety beyond me.
Twp people with poor or no diplomatic negotiating skills can be found in any country, democracy or otherwise. This regime of bully and bluster is the only one who elevates them to unearned positions otherwise reserved for experienced diplomats.
Trump thinks because he was elected President of the United States. That he is somehow both the ruler of America and the entire world! He doesn’t realize that he is a public servant. He’s going to find out how pissed off the public is at the midterms!
Trump keeps thinking diplomacy is just a selfie with better lighting. Then Macron strolls in with actual statecraft, a UN veto, and the patience of a man watching a raccoon try to operate an espresso machine. Strongman politics works great until you meet people who read treaties for fun. Versailles was the warning shot. France just turned the “master negotiator” into a group project he cannot control.
What Iran really needs to do is open the Strait to everyone but us. That would be fascinating to watch!! Nope Donnie list this one just like he loses everything else. Yet another failure!!
GB- It may be a sad sort of situation that we find ourselves in, but we might be rejoicing over the power of a true statesman (and clever fox) who has the courage to put idiocy in its place! Thank you, Mr Macron!
The US democracy does find itself collapsing at 250, but we can also rejoice over our part in creating the United Nations. That brilliant institution and various European allies may yet save us from rock bottom.
So very embarrassing. I for one am anxious for the U S, to completely break down to the basement, so that the next Democratic congress AND Democratic Administration can rebuild this country properly.
I love that fact that the greatest deal maker the world have ever seen has sent three dummies to negotiate on his behalf, they don’t get it and he certainly has not got a clue. Vive la France!!
Good on Macron.
Vive la France 🇫🇷
Your and my cats probably could outmaneuver Chump; they're certainly smarter.
Just so.
Thank you.

jd vacancy 😂😂😂
Agree, Bill!
Don't you just wish getting rid of the leader in the US was as easy as it is in the UK?
JD Vacancy🤣🤣🤣

Yes, agreed.

You have made my day. Thanks.
I 💙💙💙💙 President Marcon!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Go 🇫🇷 France!!!!! Well played👏👏👏👏MERCI!!!!!

It makes me sad as an American that we need to rely on the president of France to save us from our own president (Trump)

My respect to Macron and others who are reigning Trump in. They are making him look like the fool that he is.

Thanks President Macron for seeing through Rump’s “SHART Of The Deal!”
He stole his seat in the chair. She won.
