I have nearly bitten through my tongue watching Marjorie Taylor Greene’s resignation video. I watched it so you don’t have to, and let me tell you, it is a masterclass in gaslighting, delusion, and the kind of breathtaking hypocrisy that makes you want to scream into a pillow until you pass out.
After five years of setting the House of Representatives on fire, terrorizing her colleagues, and treating the U.S. Capitol like a set for her personal reality show, Greene has finally decided to quit.
But she isn’t leaving with dignity. No, she’s leaving while playing the one card she has denied to every marginalized group she’s ever targeted: the Victim Card.
In her parting shot, Greene had the unmitigated gall to say, “I refuse to be a battered wife hoping it all goes away and gets better.”
Excuse me?
This is a woman who has spent her entire political career acting as the abuser. This is the woman who, before she was even elected, stalked David Hogg - a teenager who survived the Parkland school shooting - harassing him on the streets of D.C. and calling him a coward.
She is the one who “liked” social media posts calling for a “bullet to the head” of Nancy Pelosi and the hanging of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
For Marjorie Taylor Greene to co-opt the language of domestic abuse survivors because Donald Trump won’t return her phone calls anymore is not just tone-deaf; it is morally obscene.
She isn’t a battered wife; she’s a henchman who got fired. She spent years stoking the fires of stochastic terrorism - using her massive platform to demonize Democrats, trans people, and “globalists” until the threats of violence became a background hum in American life.
And now? Now that the “hotbed of threats” has turned toward her, now that her own daughter has to tweet “Please pray for my mom’s safety,” she suddenly cares about the “toxic violent nature of American politics.”
Welcome to the world you built, Marge. You can dish it out, you can harass school shooting survivors, you can tell us that “political power is earned with the price of blood,” but the second the leopard you raised comes to eat your face, you crumble. It’s pathetic.

And then there’s the grift. Oh, the “Common American” grift.
In her video, she puts on her best concerned face and talks about the “common American man and woman” who know “how much credit card debt they have” and are getting “outbid by corporate asset managers.”
She wants you to think she’s just like you - a regular mom fighting the swamp.
Here is the reality: Marjorie Taylor Greene is worth an estimated $22.5 million. In May 2025 alone, while “common Americans” were struggling to buy eggs, she made over $331,000 trading stocks.
She isn’t the “common American;” she is the elite she pretends to hate. She inadvertently admitted it herself in her resignation speech when she whined, “I spent millions of my own money” to support Trump.
Normal people don’t have “millions of their own money” to light on fire for a vanity project. Normal people are the ones she voted against when she tried to kill the Affordable Care Act and voted against infrastructure bills that would actually help her district.
She is a construction heiress cosplaying as the working class, and it is insulting that she thinks we are stupid enough to buy it.
But the cherry on top of this toxic sundae is her video’s pivot to Christian Nationalism. She claims her self-worth is defined by God. This is the same “Christian” who celebrated the death of Pope Francis as “Evil being defeated.”
She has spent years preaching a gospel of exclusion, bigotry, and Christian Nationalism - an ideology she proudly embraces that says this country belongs only to people who look and pray like her.
Her faith isn’t a virtue; it’s a cudgel she uses to beat down anyone who dares to be different, whether they are LGBTQ+, Muslim, or just a Democrat.
Greene’s resignation is the inevitable collapse of a movement built on hatred. She fed the MAGA base red meat for years, radicalizing them against anyone who showed even a flicker of disloyalty to Trump.
Then, the moment she showed a sliver of independence - criticizing Trump on the Epstein files and H-1B visas - that same machine turned on her. Trump called her resignation “great news.”
He didn’t care about her loyalty. To him, she was just another useful idiot to be discarded, because - as the rest of us know, Everything Trump Touches Dies.
So, goodbye, Marjorie. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out. You leave behind a legacy of noise, fury, and absolute legislative failure. You didn’t “save” the country. You just made it louder, meaner, and more dangerous for everyone—including, ironically, yourself.

I think ur correct… I am saying that mildly…. As an avid viewer of WHOOPI’s “ THE VIEW”… & I have my own views but very much in line with their views… However, I was not fooled by MTG recent appearance on the show. MTG, thinks she can wiggle into a higher seat in politics like TRUMPS SCAMMED her MAGAS ( which I guess she still is) —- just in a female version. NO, she cannot & I hope AMERICAS “ THE VIEW” Girls—- don’t think they have to buy it & “ play nice” YOU DON’T…. MTG- just another CON. REAL AMERICA, will not listen or buy her rubbish —— we have had enough… of CONS….. best MTG , just go away.
... hope the door slams her ass as she goes.
