Thank you. I am not completely relieved but your words have helped. Because I live in California and I'm not a minority, I am less likely to be affected by trumps policies but I can't help but feel the weight of the world on my shoulders because of what they will do to millions of folk in this country. My heart hurts for those at risk because of this man.

Good advice.

Glad to see the Federal Reserve is standing firm against Trump's demands it lower interest rates, saying Trump hasn't introduced any actual economic policies yet, so there is no reason to act.

If Trump slaps tariffs on imports from China, Mexico, Canada etc, prices for imported products will rise, consumers will have to pay more and inflation will rise. The Fed will have to hike interest rates to curb inflation caused by Trump's tariffs. That could cause a business recession and job losses. Workers will also be harder to find because Trump is deporting them.

Americans may then realise that Trump doesn't actually understand tariffs and refuses to listen to the experts who do.

I note an increase in the number of posts giving advice about how Americans can move overseas to avoid Trump's madness.

Personally, I would recommend Thailand, where I worked for 3 years.

As an Australian, I certainly recommend people avoid visiting the USA until further notice. Why would you?

China will be the winner as the USA stagnates and turns inwards. China will fill the gaps and extend its influence. The USA is rapidly becoming a failed democracy. Sad to see
