A Mafia War Breaks Out Inside the West Wing
Watching an authoritarian regime cannibalize itself is a masterclass in political schadenfreude, especially when the architects of that misery start chewing through each other’s throats less than a week before the November 3 midterm elections.
Donald Trump promised his followers an invincible, disciplined juggernaut when he returned to power.
Instead, his White House has degenerated over the past few days into a vicious circular firing squad where panicked aides leak dirt on rivals, trade accusations of pay-for-play corruption, and demand that the Justice Department prosecute the president’s own allies.
Four administration insiders recently told the British tabloid The Daily Mail that loyalty inside the West Wing is evaporating as a midterm bloodbath looms. “This isn’t like the mafia. It is the mafia. And people are going to get whacked,” a former Trump official said.
Survival has replaced governance as rival factions aligned with 2028 hopefuls J.D. Vance and Marco Rubio sharpen their knives. “This is Trump 1 all over again,” a senior Trump official admitted, pointing to “significant leaking, knives out.”
Another top Republican insider described the meltdown as unprecedented: “Every White House has backstabbing. Every White House has Game of Thrones, but this is at a different, more intense level.”
Prosecuting Allies and Hunting for a Midterm Fall Guy
Greed sits at the center of this week’s internal bloodletting as Trump fumes over aides cashing in on his name.
Federal officials confirmed on Friday, October 23, that the Justice Department is investigating former Trump campaign manager and top Department of Homeland Security adviser Corey Lewandowski for allegedly profiting from his government post and holding up Federal Emergency Management Agency grants.
Trump immediately threw his longtime enforcer under the bus while speaking to reporters. “All I know is I want my people to be honest, and if they’re not going to be honest, they have to be prosecuted,” Trump declared.
“I view it as if people are not honest, they’re stealing from me as president, they’re stealing from me.”
Rival factions are simultaneously pushing for criminal charges against Trump allies Richard Grenell and Alina Habba over millions in disputed donations, while West Wing vultures circle Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and midterm strategists James Blair and Chris LaCivita.
Cabinet Rats Eye the Exits as Todd Blanche Melts Down
Cabinet secretaries are scrambling for lifeboats before voters strip Republicans of congressional power next Tuesday.
Reporting on Monday, October 26, revealed that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is privately plotting an escape hatch to dodge impeachment or firing over the Iran war and the “Signalgate” scandal.
Hegseth is hoping Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn wins Tennessee’s gubernatorial race next week and appoints him to her Senate seat.
Staying at the Pentagon guarantees humiliation, as defense officials told The Telegraph they are ready to testify once Democrats take the gavel.
“There’s going to be a lot of people that are going to very quietly go to the chair of the Armed Services Committee and are going to spill their guts,” an insider said, warning, “It’ll be horrendous. It’ll be consistent embarrassment.”
Attorney General Todd Blanche is handling the pre-election pressure with all the grace of a cornered rat.
Pressed on CNN on Sunday, October 25, about his Justice Department lawsuit seeking to block Alaska from certifying its Senate race if Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan loses to Democrat Mary Peltola, Blanche melted down on live television.
“Oh, you got to stop it with that. You are not being a real person. Come on, man,” Blanche snapped at Dana Bash, calling comparisons to January 6 “crazy” even as Trump openly admitted Sunday that he ordered the legal fight for political reasons.

Trump Brags About Making a Fortune While Voters Suffer
Nothing exposes the rot of the MAGA movement faster than a billionaire president bragging about war profiteering while working families get crushed at the gas pump.
Campaigning in Georgia on Saturday, October 24, Trump mocked his own advisers in a whiny voice for begging him not to tout oil industry windfalls sparked by his war in the Middle East.
“My people said ‘please don’t mention that, sir, because people are paying a little higher,’” Trump told the crowd before blowing past their warning.
“I can just see the fake headlines: ‘President Trump is talking about all the money they’re making while people are suffering at the pump.’ That’ll be the headline. I said I don’t give a damn, I’m gonna say it: We’re making a freaking fortune.”
Illinois Democratic Gov. JB Pritzker hammered that tone-deaf confession on Monday, October 26, writing, “Donald Trump has made $2.2 billion off the presidency, and counting. The only person making a ‘fortune’ is him.”
Even White House insiders admit that the First Family’s self-enrichment has become a devastating liability on the campaign trail.
“Democrats have been very successful in planting in people’s minds that the Trump family’s gotten crazy rich over this administration,” a White House insider told The Mail on Tuesday.
“Voters are like, ‘What the fuck? I’m struggling, and this SOB and his family are getting crazy wealthy.’”
A Lose-Lose Bloodbath
Fresh polling from the past five days confirms that voters are ready to punish this lawless syndicate on November 3.
The Cook Political Report shifted another 19 House races toward Democrats on Friday, October 23, while Senate contests in Texas, Kansas, and Iowa have tightened into toss-ups.
National numbers released by the Marist Poll on Tuesday, October 27, look even worse for the GOP: Democrats lead Republicans 52% to 44% among likely voters nationally and crush them 52% to 39% among likely independents, with 44% of likely voters casting their ballot mainly against Trump compared to 21% voting for him.
Every vicious leak and purge traps the Trump administration in a catastrophic lose-lose scenario. Cannibalizing their own operatives destroys Republican discipline right before Election Day while handing incoming Democratic investigators a roster of hostile witnesses eager to flip under oath.
“Your names are going to be on a list, and you’re going to be subpoenaed,” a former Trump official warned senior White House staff on Tuesday, noting that “for each article that drops, it’s another arrow in the quiver.”
Another Republican insider admitted the obvious: “What this is signaling to the Democrats is that there are a lot of people that will roll over on other people.” Voters can turn that panic into real accountability next Tuesday by delivering a historic blue wave.

Fucking fabulous
Why does Kegsbreath think being appointed to Blackburn’s senate seat will protect him from impeachment? He can be impeached anywhere, so far as I can figure out. And can’t the Senate refuse to seat him?
