It takes more discipline to stay calm in a difficult situation, as opposed to throwing punches when the situation becomes bad.

Nonviolent protests will draw more people over the course of time, though it will not happen quickly, as protest organizers have to be able to separate the truly peace-loving individuals from the fools and idiots who are just itching for any reason to fight; this latter group will wreck any credibility that organizers are trying to establish.

Well realised👍 As time goes by & the powers that be see the rise against their authoritarian rule, strategies will be put in place to counter the trend against them, & that certainly won’t be ‘peaceful’.

There will always be groups among the peaceful protests who see themselves as the only way to act against the administration is to fight physically & they, need to be convinced otherwise OR cause the peaceful movement to topple.

What evidence do the researchers of the 3.5% tipping point study have for such a situation🤔

Would be interesting to know❗️

I read that the unofficial total of participants in the No Kings Day protest was a little less than 13 million people. Plus they have started the next phase of protest. I signed up for it and attended the first official meeting. There are more people who don't have transportation, but want to attend. If people could help them out, these protests could be so much bigger!
