Important point to remember in the coming months.

Brilliant analysis!! Well written: articulated and accessible. But most importantly, it states the not so evident, but unquestionable truth.

Well. I’ll give it to Liz, she actually tried to right a wrong. The other two, just a convenience to shift when the wind blows in the other direction.

They're not on our side...or America's until the DENOUNCE the tax theft they've championed for years. The give aways to the rich are not in our constitution, nor were they ever something we can get behind. Stop being selfish slobs & greedy pigs & killing regulations...or you're not on our side.

I get it, I do….but…

When conservatives FINALLY speak out against what's going on, regardless of their motivations, they know they'll face death threats and harassment from their own side.

Unfortunately, they also face unrelenting shaming and derision from our side…..for every past decision, statement and vote…even though they've starting doing what we've been hoping they would.

So what's the benefit of, or motivation for, them speaking out at all?

Spoiler alert, there is NONE.

Which is why so few of them ever $#@& do.

We don't have to forget their past actions, or even forgive them. We don't have to donate or subscribe to them, praise them or vote for them.

But haven't we been pissed all along that so few speak up?

Like it or not, we're going to need a lot of these people to stand up and speak up....so let's not give them more reason not to than they already have.

So when you see them putting Trump on blast, regardless of their motives, if you can't say something like “We don't agree on much else, but we agree on this”, or even just “well, it's about &$## time”, then it might be better to say nothing at all.

In fact, you can just re-post their criticisms and leave it at that.

Every rift in the fragile coalition of different groups that support the GOP should be widened at every opportunity.

Don't do MAGA's work for them by criticizing Trump's critics. This is precisely what 'politics makes strange bedfellows' means.

The entire right wing is composed of greedy opportunists. They were all raised that way since Reagan.

Walsh’s extreme love for all things Israel is my line.

I like to point out that W has far more innocent blood on his hands than Trump (for now). Trump may be the most openly corrupt, but W was still more evil. The LP crew doesn’t care for that fact.

Rather than stupidly doing appearances with Liz Cheney during the 2024 campaign, Kamala Harris should have fired up the Democratic base by supporting raising the minimum wage, opposing Netanyahu’s war, etc. I voted for Harris, but she was an example of the Peter Principle and not a good candidate.
