David Dunning wrote about this in an opinion piece in Politico in 2017. It's now 2025 and we dealing with an out-of-control train barreling down the tracks at our democracy and everyone living here. I do believe it was simply serendipity that Trump found he loved being the center of all the adulation of his supporters/fans - he had no desire to govern. This gave power and his personal emotional instability played right into the hands of nefarious players. The ultra-right wing Heritage Foundation, the Federalist Society -before Trump jurists looking to advance hid their association with the Federalist Society and the Heritage Fdtn is just the progeny of the John Birch Society. And there's always Vladimir Putin. In 2024 the "Dark MAGA" billionaires in Silicon Valley saw an OPPORTUNITY in Trump. They all knew how to "play him" - get what they want and none of them care what happens to the poor souls that formed Trump's "base." Unfortunately this piece here doesn't give us any DIRECTIVES on how to "deal" with Trump's die-hard supporters. While getting rid of Fox propaganda (it's NOT "news") would go a long way, there might not be much any of us who can discern facts from nonsense can do but to rally the ambivalent to get off the fence and oppose Trump. This one photo haunts me - it's a photo taken of a group of Stalin supporters after Khrushchev published his report on the atrocities committed by Stalin (Stalin had died of a heart attack ~ 3 years earlier.) They were bent over wailing and hysterical. Remember Stalin lead the Russians to victory against Hitler - their bond with him was INTENSE. Many of the most ardent Trump supporters have had less than happy lives - for this reason they hang on to the "false hope" Trump gives them. They are completely delusional in their belief that "Trump understands us!" I do worry how they will handle it when the reality of the fact that "YOU'VE BEEN PLAYED" hits them. We shall be lucky if they are merely like the people in those photos grieving, bent up wailing in hysterics, over the loss of their hero, Josef Stalin.

So, telling us about it is fine, but how does one suffering from it get through it? That is, what can be done to address the effect? Is it incurable?!
Truly not fit for office. Relieved to see some dissention at least, but there will be so much damage done before he can be stopped!
STD’s right?
Whatever the reason, he is not fit for office. The treasonous trifecta needs to be removed immediately.
