They F*ed Around, Now It’s Time to Make Them Find Out
Targeting Trump’s Donors, Allies, and Red State Enablers
Well, here we are. A few days into Donald Trump’s second term, and the reality is settling in like a bad hangover.
The guy who incited an insurrection is back in the Oval Office, strutting around with a vengeance and a MAGA-packed administration ready to dismantle what’s left of democracy.
For the billionaires, grifters, and red-state enablers, it’s a party. For the rest of us? It’s DEFCON 1 for civil liberties, voting rights, and the environment.
But don’t despair. Because while Trump and his cronies are busy laughing it up and handing out tax cuts to their billionaire buddies, we’ve got a plan. This isn’t about “unity” or “moving on.” This is about accountability.
This is about ensuring that every enabler of this authoritarian experiment regrets it. So, if you’re ready to fight back, read on. This is your liberal playbook for turning their victory lap into a faceplant.
Know Your Enemy
Before we dive into the plan, here’s a quick rundown of the players who made this disaster possible—and who we’ll be targeting.
Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, and Jeff Bezos are three examples of the new puppet masters of MAGA. Musk has turned Twitter (sorry, “X”) into a haven for conspiracy theorists and joined Trump’s administration to run the DOGE program.
Then there are the lawmakers—Marjorie Taylor Greene, Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, and Lindsey Graham—who’ve traded principles for power.
Lastly, red states like Texas, Florida, and Ohio are testing grounds for MAGA’s most extreme policies. From abortion bans to voter suppression and anti-LGBTQ+ laws, they’re pushing the limits of authoritarianism and hoping blue states don’t notice.
Spoiler alert: We’re noticing.
Got it? Good. Now, let’s talk about how to make them pay.
Economic Warfare: Hit Them Where It Hurts—Their Wallets
If there’s one thing billionaires and corporations fear more than regulation, it’s losing money. So, let’s make supporting Trumpism a costly mistake.
Boycott MAGA-Linked Brands
Start with the obvious targets. Elon Musk’s Tesla? Peter Thiel’s Palantir? Jeff Bezos’ Amazon empire? Say goodbye. And don’t let X (formerly Twitter) off the hook—it’s a key tool for MAGA propaganda.
Limit your use of these platforms, and when you do use them, make sure to call out their role in amplifying right-wing extremism.
Consumer power works. Remember how Bud Light’s sales cratered after conservatives threw a fit over a single Instagram post?
Use that same energy to target MAGA-linked brands. Share boycott lists, tag companies online, and pressure retailers to drop their products.
Divestment Campaigns
Think bigger. Universities, pension funds, and corporations shouldn’t be investing in companies bankrolling Trump’s agenda. Press these institutions to divest from MAGA-linked firms.
Public pressure works—just look at how fossil fuel divestment campaigns have reshaped the energy industry.
Redirect Your Dollars
If you can’t avoid certain companies entirely, consider supporting alternatives wherever possible. Shop small and local, especially with businesses that are vocal about supporting progressive causes.
Look for union-made products. Share information about ethical alternatives on social media to encourage others to make the switch. Every dollar spent on these alternatives strengthens the resistance and weakens the MAGA-fueled economy.
Expose, Shame, and Mobilize: Using Public Pressure
The right-wing loves to weaponize outrage and misinformation—so let’s use their own tactics against them. You don’t need a law degree or political connections to fight back; you just need your voice, your platform, and a little creativity.
Expose Their Corruption
Knowledge is power, and exposing MAGA enablers can be devastating. Track the politicians, corporations, and public figures supporting Trump’s agenda and share that information widely.
Use social media to amplify the connections between MAGA lawmakers and their billionaire donors.
For example: Who’s funding your local GOP representative? Which companies are benefiting from MAGA policies? Share this info in a way that’s easy to understand and hard to ignore.
Attend town halls, write letters to the editor, and push local media to cover these connections. The more people know about their leaders’ actions and alliances, the harder it becomes for those leaders to operate without scrutiny.
Humiliate the Hypocrites
MAGA politicians thrive on outrage, but they crumble under public humiliation. Remember Josh Hawley’s infamous sprint away from the Capitol insurrectionists? Or Ted Cruz’s Cancun getaway during a deadly Texas winter storm?
These moments need to live forever in memes, social media clips, and viral posts.
Call out their hypocrisy relentlessly. Highlight their contradictions—like railing against “big government” while accepting federal subsidies or claiming to care about “family values” while passing laws that hurt families.
Tag their corporate donors and ask, “Why are you funding this?” Public shaming works and can force companies to rethink their alliances.
Mobilize Your Community
Change doesn’t happen alone. Organize discussions or events in your community to educate others about what’s happening and how they can take action.
Create simple, shareable resources, like lists of companies to boycott, petitions to sign, or local organizations to support.
If there’s a protest or demonstration against MAGA policies in your area, show up—and bring others with you. The power of collective action can’t be overstated. Politicians pay attention when they see the size and passion of the opposition.
Crush Red-State Power: Sanctions and Economic Consequences
If red states want to drag us into the past, they should feel the economic consequences.
Boycott Their Economies
Your money is your power—so don’t spend it in red states actively destroying civil liberties. Skip Florida’s beaches, Texas’ music festivals, or any other vacation destinations in states pushing MAGA policies.
Instead, support businesses and tourism in states that uphold democracy and civil rights. When you book hotels, flights, or events, share your choices on social media and encourage others to do the same.
A hit to their tourism industry sends a clear message: we won’t fund your extremism.
Take it a step further by avoiding products or services from companies headquartered in these states if they’ve aligned themselves with MAGA policies.
Research where your dollars are going, and shift your spending to businesses that align with your values.
Support Local Resistance
Grassroots activists in red states are fighting uphill battles every day, often with limited funding and support. You can help level the playing field.
Donate to women’s health services funds, LGBTQ+ organizations, voting rights groups, and other local efforts in states like Texas, Florida, and Ohio.
Even small contributions can make a big difference in helping these groups push back against oppressive laws.
This isn’t just about helping those on the ground—it’s about building long-term power in places where it’s needed most. Your support strengthens the opposition, energizes local voters, and lays the groundwork for future change.
Amplify and Call Out
Use your voice to amplify the actions of companies and organizations that are standing up to MAGA policies—or call out those that are complicit.
Social media is a powerful tool. Tag companies that do business in states like Florida and Texas and ask them why they’re funding leaders like Ron DeSantis or Greg Abbott.
Public pressure works, especially when it goes viral. Even if you can’t directly stop corporate dollars, you can make it clear that their choices are being watched and judged.
Build a Liberal Future
Retaliation is step one. Step two is building a future where we don’t have to keep fighting these battles.
Craft a Liberal Vision
The far-right has Project 2025. Where’s our blueprint? Let’s push for universal healthcare, green infrastructure, expanded voting rights, and affordable childcare.
These aren’t just liberal policies—they’re popular policies that resonate across party lines.
Invest in Grassroots Media and Activism
Right-wing media dominates the narrative. It’s time to change that. Fund grassroots outlets, amplify liberal voices, and train a new generation of activists who can carry the torch forward.
They F*cked Around. Now Make Them Find Out.
This isn’t about revenge—it’s about survival.
Boycott their brands. Sue their enablers. Humiliate their leaders. And while we’re at it, let’s build a future that leaves their regressive policies in the dustbin of history.

Hhhmmm….”Then there are the lawmakers—Marjorie Taylor Greene, Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, and Lindsey Graham—who’ve traded principles for power.” I have to question something here… Is there any evidence that any of these four people ever had principles?
Great article! Would love to see it go viral! Thanks
