What a horrible experience that must have been for the woman and at least some of the other eight children who were old enough to understand. It’s a heartbreaking story.
Even in our so-called affluent country, quality of life and reproductive health are important. No woman greets pregnancy with joy when it means starvation and death for even one of the children that you already have.

This administration literally cut the lifesaving funding, and ordered that emergency food (which had already been paid for by our tax dollars, and approved by Congress), to be burned, rather than give it to starving people. It also cost more to burn it. The night before SNAP benefits were cut for families in need, they held a lavish Great Gatsby party, where the champagne flowed and scantily dressed women danced. Why is this being tolerated?? Mothers going without food, so their children can eat… a mother who had to walk 12 kilometers, where her other children were hungry, and now her baby died from malnutrition. While this administration is raking in billions of dollars, in crypto coins and grifting, people are starving. While the President brags about covering the Oval Office in gold, children are dying from hunger and preventable diseases. Enough of this already. It is time to get all of these people out, and hold them accountable.
