🇺🇸 Outstanding summation of the new electoral possibilities since Tuesday’s election rout.

I’m starting to hope again, which is a huge transformation for me from Monday night.

Let’s all take heart that right is winning over hate on several fronts. Join me in my newfound optimism — then join me in fighting for our country, one voter at a time. 🇺🇸

Please give your thinking on Robert Arnold's passionate point of view that voters in the south are waiting. Waiting to be asked, to be inspired.

Liked yours article “Trump's Scheme To Steal the Midterms Is Backfiring, BIGLY” but i question the use of the word mandate. Yes it was a big win, but we (the Democrats) can rest on the reasoning the election in two states, even if they were landslide’s, would be a mandate. Maybe in those states but not nationwide. The only clear mandate would be to totally blow the socks off the Republican in the midterms and again in the general election in 2028.

I don’t think anyone is hanging this assumption on those two races. They are looking at the state and local races in PA, GA, MS, CO, etc. it’s true the fight isn’t over. But it’s fair to take a second to breathe and celebrate that there is clear evidence of a turning tide.

The “Gilded Age” and “Roaring Twenties” both ended in disaster, especially the Great Depression. A lot of suffering occurred before Franklin Roosevelt turned the tide. I hope “we the people” have learned from history and a tremendous blue wave gets us turned around in 2 years instead 10.

They must be pretty dull-normal if they thought they could keep Hispanic support after targeting them. Does not take a rocket surgeon to figure that out.

Great, straight forward analysis of the effects of Republican efforts to 'cheat those libs.' Thank you!

I often wonder why they didn't learn in elementary school that this temporary cheat strategy NEVER wins long term. They are so micro-focused on LOSING that that's the result they're getting. I guess they haven't read the gazillion books out there about 'You get what you focus on.' Focus on the fear, that's what's gonna come back to you, more reasons to be afraid. Sheesh.

Now he’ll have to rely on another one of the regime’s schemes, to provoke an “insurrection”, and delay or cancel midterms.

I know, and it’s so scary. One time here, I said that I hoped the people of Portland would keep it peaceful, and somebody replied and said, basically, that we should never stay peaceful because a Fascist wants us to. But, that’s the thing, the regime doesn’t want us to be peaceful.

I’ve just been reading a piece on the Pensilvania election results, and the fact is that the closer the votes are in any district the easier it is to fraudulently swing them.

To lose Republican votes in safe seats by gerrymandering them over into blue districts does exactly that.

Ballot counting machines, hand counting ballots, and, shocking to me, re-written and re-represented slips, is the issue that truly needs solving.

You can get the votes but can the election system really be trusted still to hold true account?

Increase vigilance! Some of the shit they will try will be so crazy it might be disregarded as lunatic ravings. They won’t stop trying. They can see total ruin in their future.

It does seem that the voting machines are extremely liable for fraud from those who like to perpetuate fraud because they can’t win by playing the game honestly. The machines are connected to the internet and everyone always said they weren’t. Some of the machines are old. Perhaps doing everything by hand is better!

There are still several long dangerous years ahead before we have an idea of how this will play out. Also, there's still the underlying issue of the MAGA base...that's a problem which isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Gerrymandering could be a double-edged sword for the GOP. By doing so, they believe they will gain more seats, but it may be the other way around
