Let’s just call it what it is: the GOP is full of spineless cowards.

I mean, seriously, how else do you describe a party that keeps groveling at the feet of a man they openly loathed just a few years ago? 

Remember when Lindsey Graham called Trump a 'race-baiting, xenophobic bigot'? Or when Ted Cruz got his wife insulted and then proceeded to kiss the ring like a scolded dog? 

And let's not forget Mitch McConnell—good ol’ Mitch, who once swore Trump was responsible for inciting an insurrection, only to turn around and say he'd vote for him again in 2024.

If there’s ever been a bigger bunch of hypocrites, I haven’t seen them.

Behind closed doors, these same Republicans rant about how much they despise Trump.

They laugh at him, they mock him, and they certainly don’t respect him. 

But when the cameras roll or the polls get tight, they flip the script faster than a desperate politician in a scandal. 

Suddenly, they’re back to talking about how ‘great’ Trump is, how he’s ‘draining the swamp,’ and how ‘unfair’ the media is for holding him accountable for literally anything. 

It’s the kind of pathetic pandering you’d expect from a sleazy used-car salesman, not elected officials supposedly leading one of the world’s most powerful nations.

And let’s not pretend this spinelessness is new.

The GOP has been cowards for years—decades, even. 

This is a party that put its head down and let Trump bulldoze over every principle it once claimed to hold dear. 

Fiscal responsibility? Gone. 

Respect for the Constitution? A joke. 

Conservatism? Forget about it. 

Now, it’s all about loyalty to one man—a man most of them don’t even like! It’s so absurd it’s almost funny—if it weren’t so dangerous.

What’s even worse is how they try to justify this shameless kowtowing.

'Oh, it’s just politics,’ they say, ‘gotta win elections.' 

So, let me get this straight: abandoning your principles, compromising the nation’s integrity, and pandering to a pathological liar, adjudicated rapist, and convicted felon is all just part of the game now?
