Trump Loses for the 10th Time, Sets All-Time Record
Surprise, surprise - losing loser suffers another loss!
Donald Trump just lost to E. Jean Carroll for the 10th, and the Supreme Court delivered the final slap in the $5 million E. Jean Carroll case he spent years trying to bury.
The Court rejected Trump’s request to rehear its June refusal to take up his appeal. That leaves intact the 2023 jury verdict finding Trump liable for sexually abusing Carroll and defaming her, along with the judgment he has already been forced to pay.
Another Door Slams Shut
Carroll is the longtime advice columnist and writer whom Trump accused of lying after she publicly described his sexual assault of her in a Manhattan department-store dressing room in the 1990s. A federal jury in New York found Trump liable in May 2023 for sexual abuse and defamation, awarding Carroll $5 million.
Trump did what Trump does when a court rules against him. He attacked the plaintiff, attacked the verdict, filed appeals, sought rehearing, and tried to make the consequences disappear through sheer volume and repetition.
The federal courts kept saying no. The Second Circuit affirmed the $5 million verdict. The full Second Circuit refused to revisit it. The Supreme Court refused to hear Trump’s appeal in June, then refused again when he demanded a rehearing.
Carroll’s separate $83.3 million defamation verdict has also survived Trump’s first rounds of appeal. That case remains pending before the Supreme Court, but the lower courts have already rejected his arguments.
Losing Is the Strategy
Trump’s legal strategy has never depended on proving he is right. It depends on exhausting everyone else.
He drags victims through years of filings, forces courts to revisit arguments they have already rejected, and turns every ruling into another chance to perform grievance for his supporters.
The point is delay. The point is intimidation. The point is to pretend that every institution is corrupt until somebody gives him the answer he wants.
It did not work here.
Carroll did not fold. Her lawyers did not blink. Judges and juries did not mistake Trump’s rage for evidence.
The same man who sells himself as an unstoppable winner has now been beaten, over and over, by one writer who refused to let him rewrite what happened.

The Record of Defeat
Trump’s tenth loss in the Carroll cases is not ten separate lawsuits. It is ten separate times courts or juries rejected him across two cases, including verdicts, appeals, rehearing requests, and failed efforts to stall payment.
May 2023: A federal jury found Trump liable for sexually abusing and defaming Carroll, awarding her $5 million.
January 2024: A separate federal jury awarded Carroll $83.3 million in her second defamation case against Trump.
December 2024: The Second Circuit affirmed the $5 million judgment.
June 2025: The full Second Circuit declined to rehear Trump’s challenge to the $5 million verdict.
September 2025: A three-judge Second Circuit panel upheld the $83.3 million judgment.
April 29, 2026: The Second Circuit declined to rehear Trump’s challenge to the $83.3 million verdict en banc.
June 29, 2026: The Supreme Court declined to hear Trump’s appeal of the $5 million judgment.
July 8, 2026: U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan denied Trump’s attempt to delay payment and ordered release of the $5 million judgment plus interest.
July 8, 2026: The Second Circuit denied Trump’s emergency request to halt that release.
August 17, 2026: The Supreme Court denied Trump’s petition to rehear its refusal to take up the $5 million case.
Trump can keep filing. He can keep whining that the courts, juries, judges, and women he assaulted are all somehow part of a conspiracy against him. But the number keeps getting bigger.
Ten losses. Two cases. Nearly $89 million in jury awards. And a record that no tantrum can redact.

I call them "Tantrumps."
May the State of New York begin seizing his assets in order to fulfill that $80+
Million judgement against him? I’d like a front row seat at the proceedings. I’ll pop some corn, sit down, and enjoy myself immensely. Justice is sweetest when delivered via an order of the courts.
