Destruction without authorization from Congress to expend money for reconstruction is simply vandalidm Trump said maximum penalties of 20 years for vandalism would be strictly enforced. Congress sets expenditures (Art1.9.7) Trump's actions are illegal, usurp Congress authority. These aren't essential acts of POTUS so shouldn't be immune per SJC ruling.
The Kennedy Center will someday be repaired, restored or rebuilt. What it will NEVER have is the stench of trump's foul name on any part of the building. John F. Kennedy deserves better, his heirs and descendants deserve better, and the American people deserve better.

I have spent so many wonderful evenings there and seen some of the great artists of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.

I agree, I wasn't alive when Kennedy was president(born in 1994), but even I can tell that he was a better president than Trump.

Last September, Trump announced that America would be returning to the Moon by 2028. NASA has since adopted that 2028 lunar-return goal.
So, naturally, there’s only one thing left to do:
Rename the Kennedy Space Center the Trump Kennedy Space Center.
Kennedy’s goal was to reach the moon within the decade. Trump’s goal is to own the moon by 2028.
